Hager Al Laham joined the Chair of Sustainable Construction in March.

Hager Al Laham did her master thesis at the Chair of Sustainable Construction and joined now the group as scientific Assistant.

Hager Al Laham joined the Chair of Sustainable Construction in March. Last year, Hager did her master thesis at the chair on the topic “Approaches to evaluate sustainability of modular building systems” (2020), while additionally supporting the project „Modular and prefabricated architecture“ as a student assistant.

Besides working for the Chair, she is a specialist in building services and energy standards at the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA), which develops, maintains and publishes numerous standards, regulations and guidelines that are authoritative for the Swiss construction industry.

Hager’s background lies in architecture, with a diploma in Architecture (BSc) and Integrated Building Systems (MSc) from the ETH Zürich.
