Jakub Veselka joined the chair of Sustainable Construction
Jakub Veselka is an academic guest at the Chair of Sustainable Construction from May until October 2021.
Currently, he is working on his Ph.D. degree at Czech Technical University in Prague with a focus on BIM-LCA. He is also involved in research projects related to the same topics.
He graduated from the study program Architecture and Building Engineering (BSc) and Buildings and Environment (MSc). During his studies, he worked as a research intern at universities in Norway, Macau, and Kenya. After graduation, he worked as a BIM Consultant in the company cadconsulting where he was responsible for BIM implementation in architectural and MEP studios. He also spent a year in Dubai (UAE) as a BIM Coordinator on projects in the Middle East. After returning to Czechia, he worked for Siemens as BIM-LCA Specialist.
