Visit Erne Holzbau in Stein

ERNE AG Holzbau is planning to expand its offices in Stein/AG in the next few years. The new office building will be constructed as a timber-concrete composite support system together with cores made of clay. We were invited to visit the production of the clay walls and the storage of the finished walls, which are placed in a parking garage for drying. We learned many interesting facts about digital production and the challenge of making walls from excavated material. The large halls of Erne AG in which complete elements for buildings are produced, which are then only assembled on the construction site, was impressive.
