This lecture will focus on Junjie Li's 14-year research and practice in High-performance Low-carbon Buildings. She believes that architecture should constantly balance the relationship between technology and the environment, rather than blindly pursuing technological advancement as the ultimate goal. A good architectural design should reflect a response to the environment and resources by making the most of them, while also paying attention to the specific needs of the users.

Junjie Li is an academic Guest Professor at the Chair of Sustainable Construction from December 2022 to December 2023. She is Associate Professor in School of Architecture and Design, Beijing Jiaotong University, Deputy Director of Architecture Department.
