Shoshana joined the chair of sustainable construction to set up and organise a knowledge platform
We warmly welcome Shoshana Huber
Shoshana joined the chair of sustainable construction to set up and organise a knowledge platform. The aim of the knowledge platform is to regroup on one website material providers, production/geological zones, architects, craftspeople, and buildings, localising them on maps. Further construction details and technical properties related to the regenerative materials will be available freely. This is a project by the chair and EPFL.
Shoshana studied mechanical engineering at ETH and worked as a process engineer for 3 years. Thereafter she began learning about and using lime and clay and building stoves. The fascination grew and she completed the CAS in Regenerative Materials in 2021 and an apprenticeship as stove-builder with EFZ mid-2022.
Still self-employed as stove-builder and consultant in sustainable and low-cost construction as well as being a sports trainer for running, trail running, Yoga/Pilates and full body workout.
