Summer Schools

The Chair of Sustainable Construction regularly organises summer schools related to the appropriate use of resources within a defined territory or for a specific set of stakeholders. The objective is to immerse the students in a context where they need to apply their skills to a real life problem and interact with specific stakeholders. So far this teaching approach has been developed:

  • In collaboration with Wienerberger and 6 other universities in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland through WISBA.
  • In collaboration with HES-VD and 2iE through KPFE (Commission for Research Partnerships with Developing Countries) in a program on Sustainable and affordable housing in Sahelian countries.
  • In collaboration with USYS TdLab and Amàco through the block course Grounded Materials.
