Workshop on Urban Evaluation
The Chair of Sustainable Construction participated in a round-table discussion at the University of Strasbourg with prominent researchers in the field of Life Cycle Assessment. This was the first of a series of workshops and meetings with the objective to determine the framework and establish guidelines for Life Cycle Assessment at an urban scale.
Following the workshop, Dimitra Ioannidou presented the work on the criticality of resources to the University of Bordeaux and NOBATEK, a French Center of Technological Resources. The French Technological Center expressed their interest in including this indicator in the tool they have developed for evaluating urban planning projects since their early phases.
