«The Life Cycle Experience»: Invited lecture at the 5th bauhaus.ifex colloquium
Alexander Hollberg was invited to present the latest research on design-integrated LCA of the chair of sustainable construction at the 5th colloquium of Bauhaus Institute for Experimental Architecture (bauhaus.ifex).
The lecture took place in the “Klima-Pavillon” in Apolda, a membrane construction designed by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Ruth, head of bauhaus.ifex. Trough modelling the pavilion with the tool CAALA, Alexander Hollberg showed that the membrane construction only emits one tenth of greenhouse gas emissions compared to an equivalent concrete structure.
