DAS ETH in Regenerative Materials
earth. bio-based. reused

It is time to move beyond sustainability. Innovative solutions utilising local re-
sources such as earth, bio-based, and reused materials are emerging world-
wide. These materials are driving regenerative outcomes by restoring and en-
hancing the surrounding natural and social environment.
The DAS ETH in Regenerative Materials is an international programme laun-
ched by the Chair of Sustainable Construction. This programme is focused on
earth, bio-based and reused materials and construction techniques, promo-
ting their use in low-energy buildings with high-efficiency building envelopes
and load-bearing structures. It combines two CAS ETH in Regenerative Mate-
rials, followed by a thesis.
The thesis is a personal work achieved in one semester with the supervision of relevant experts, promoting dynamic interaction between the participant and the teaching team. The subject of this work and the experts in charge of supervision are chosen after the completion of the second CAS. The thesis will be presented in front of a jury at the end of the semester.
Costs
In addition to the fees of the two preliminary CAS, the fee of the DAS programme is 4000 CHF.
Duration
1 semester, starting in Spring or Autumn Semester
Application
After the completion of 2 CAS ETH Regenerative Materials Esesntials / Hygrothermal Specialisation or Structural Specialisation.
